Safety Bay, WA, AU RS Slalom MK III 8.6, Futura 122, Maui Ultra Fin Co 46cm Meataxe weedy

Light seabreeze rubbed the Beaver this arvo bringing some much needed relief to the heat, went the 8.6 but could not outhaul it properly as the substitute boom I have whilst waiting for my replacement Maui boom to turn up is too short. Got thrown around on my first couple of runs and discovered that the adjustable harness lines that came with the boom are great at adjusting themselves to max length as you sail. made some adjustments so I could sail at max line length and got settled before trying to sail fast

Retreated into the pond after a NM run and turned over my 5 by 10 and Wobbled through an ALpha out in the sound before heading back up to pengoes doing a few laps of that circuit and a NM run before heading home.

Good fun Session, have to work tomorrow so enjoy it fellas

Only 8 to 10 knots here Adam, I was waiting for it to get strong enough for a wave sail, didn't happen.

Thats the Beauty of Safety Bay Mike, it sticks out just that little bit more so gets into a different wind stream, over the eastern side today there were some patches of realy warm air where the easterly was putting in a good fight and it was blowing east when I got home, my place is just off the side of the pic above
