5246 days ago spontaneously did a trip round the cape leeuwin peninsula between flinders bay and up past skippy rock between the 2 oceans. very scenic expedition while seeing a big fish that happened to be a group of dolphins. no one around except a couple of fishermen and some people checking out the lighthouse and waterwheel. The 8.5 was feeling so stable and nice out there in the rough choppy seas, made me more convident to sail beyond the lighthouse downwind of the cape in the offshore winds, while it drives through the gusty winds well and was also quick to get back upwind with that super stable profile, no wonder its called the machine...
