Rainy and windy, perfect summer weather at Hawks Nest for Day 1 of the Downunder Pro regatta! Three races in total today, first one was on 10m but quickly rigged down to 9m for the second two. Really just survival mode out there - the winner was the one who crashed the least times.
I think 26 kts is close to a PB for me on formula, no wonder I was feeling scared on a few of those downwind legs.
