HORROR STORY: Headed off for the lake and the wind was up in Hervey Bay. Ten km's out of town the new board came off the trailer! Probably would have been okay in the board bag, but some guy in a truck decided to run it over before I could get it off the road!!!! The whole front of the board has a tyre width crunch mark - doubt if it can be repaired.

Got to the lake and no wind - just to rub salt into the wounds. Rigged up and went out in about 6-8 knots. The new sail looks good Geoff. Mucked around for a while in the light winds. I haven't uploaded Scotty's results yet, but I reckon he's beat me comprehensively today - OH WHAT A DAY. Think I'll have a beer and have a good cry!
