Gert had been out for a while on his 5.8 and was packing up as I got there. Wind died off fairly quickly down to 15 kts so decided to take the opportunity to get some TOW in stronger winds on new board. Still not at all comfortable. The sweet spot is there somewhere, just have to find it! Got spoilt sailing my old board last week which is easier and more slalomy in shape - new one is faster but harder to sail and not so forgiving of my poor technique.
