Water's clear & brown & smells like sh*t- glad I didn't fall in.  Hardly any floating debris but heaps of rocks & coral stuff on the bottom.  Western side has changed so much, seems a bit deeper and sand goes out further but now stepping on rock base beneath what mud is left.

Short late arvo sail on new board- after 4 years riding f2s & fanatic i've switched to starboards again and love it , can see why they win races.  Have tried isonics a fair bit but others rig different.

Planes early, smooth progression on the plane rather than abrupt change and good speed for how light it was.  Good grip, cranks upwind can push on it hard as soon as planing without spinout in conditions i'd normally have used 51cm fin.

Different to gybe as seems harder to turn in but doesn't level out mid gybe, probably cause standing further back so despite being a bit worried about volume for my bulk it made it easier to handle the big sail- doesn't feel like it gets weighed down by the vapor's excessive weight.
