Beautiful day at Burrum, good wind direction, just poor wind speed of 5 knots! Still, great fun out there pumping away with Barbie and under the expert supervision of Captain Ray, who was aboard the team flagship and carrier, HMAS Bertha.
Exocet RS5; Ezzy Lion 8.5; BP-R40.

4757 days ago Lake Weyba, QLD. A great sail with Pete & Ken. Still a bit gusty but hey, no complaints from me. Used the 117W, Blade 7.0 & Cr@p 36. In fact B4 I left home I looked at the forecast/readings & trees. Took the little board & put it in the garage, same with 6.3 & the medium board. No need for any of that! Gee it gave me plenty of room in the car! Got down to the lake, looked at the wind & thought sh1t. Asked DXLR8if he could bring the gear I dumped for me on his way.
Wind dropped a bit so rang and cancelled the pick up and rigged my bigger gear (that's all I brought) and went out. I usually use the Sting2 44 with this board & sail but thought the fin a bit big for the gusts. Wacked in the old CX 36 and out i went. Gee had a good sail. No tail walking in the gusts, got on the plane easily in the light wind and no real problem spin outs.
