Hood River Waterfront Park

Loft RB6.3 Naish SP95 Vector Volt 28

After a week of steady wind in Hatteras it was back to the Gusty Gorge. Testing GPS so only a short session. GPSLogit with U-Blox 10hz gps chipset. Need some more data to run a statistical analysis so will catalogue my results over the summer. Nice to have the 10hz system up and running. Didn't complete an hour.

GT31 tends to overead on the longer distances. 5 x 10 secs within 0.025, 27.135 versus 27.16 for the 10 hz.

Roo, I suspected you would be on the water today after I looked at iWindsurf. I am interested in following your development effort on the 10 hz gps chipset. If you need more data during the summer, I would be happy to help when I'm at the Gorge (my comparison GPS is the GW-52). As with last year, most of my sailing will probably be done from the Waterfront Park (it is just too darn convenient and accomodating).

No wind on Bonaire and starting to look like last Friday might have been my last day of sailing in Bonaire until next November...
