Car was still packed from yesterday. The sun came out so went to Marmong and washed all the smelly weed off my gear.

A day of careful planning & precise execution. Managed to stuff it up perfectly! Arrived early, Troy already rigged, fROTHIE FROTHING BUT NO WIND. wAITED TILL ABOUT 12.30 IT HIT WITH A BANG. Obvioiusly the optimum point of entry was 7th Ave so there I went. Troy launching as I sTarted rigging 80 litre Exo & speed board & 6.6.  WIND DROPPED A BIT, CHANGED TO 62 casl & SAT & WAITED AS BY THEN, tROY HAD USED UP ALL THE GOOD WIND IN ABOUT 40 MINS OF NICE GYBING & FLAT WATER. aT 2PM i DECIDED IT WAS NOW OR NEVER, IT WASN'T GOING TO GET BETTER. rIGHT FOR ONCE. hAD SOME NICE RUNS, BETTER THAN BEING DEAD i SUPPOSE. bUGGER THOSE CAPS LOCKS, i'M NOT GOING BACK TO TYPE ALL THIS AGAIN.

Exocet RS6, TR8 7.0, Vmax 41 - Wind W 2-20 knots

Pretty short sail at teralba.  First time using the 41 fin in the big board (usually use a 51) but it worked well with the smaller sail and didnt spin out.  I think thats my top speed for that board, the smaller fin and sail definitely makes it faster with less drag.

Pretty big turnout (maybe 12 guys?) and awesome to see everyone hanging around afterwards having a chin-wag as the sun went down.

Teralba, NSW, AU club day and good to see so many out. Exocet RS4, 6.7 OD, 40 sting - feeling lazy after yesterday so rigged small to wait for the wind, and wait and wait - finally got short bursts of hope but the wind was only teasing. Anyway it was a sail and wasn't that cold lololol.

NW5-25 very gusty but enjoyable. As usual i was again a bit to cautious.  8 or 9 sailors out to use the conditions to practise. Formula sailors

took the easy option to use the small gear.

Fanatic 110l 72w 350 pointer, sailworks 6.6 m.

A couple of dodgy phone pics from today.   Shots are of Andrew H and Jeff (not on GPSTC).

So James you rock up late, sail for 5 minutes and smoke us all (legend) Tongue out - but it was good to see you out on the water, I'm seriously doing something wrong, maybe just need a new fin.

It was a lucky gust Steve. 5x10 tells the real story :) The board doesn't feel like it is 82 wide when you use a smaller fin.
