Arco, Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, IT

Well..today I found out what the minimum speed is for planning.

I was out for an hour and a half doing my daily exercise and planned about a km at maximum. In 5meter lots of course. While the swave looking ltalians blasted by mewith their flashy 10m sails on their huge wide boards.

Marvelous. .as Clint Eastwood would say.

Tomorrow it all gets loose..so, this is the ltalian championship for al categories.

According to my calculations l should come a strong last so, if l get just one behind me then l have done well.

See how we go?!?!?!

Cocos (Keeling) Islands. Day one of 14 days spent there. Here the tide was out and coral outcrops were only inches below. Sorry to say but this record was the only time my Canmore worked. It was beautiful sailing in waist deep warm water. There was a good selection of boards and sails. i mainly used the same board the whole time, a freeride wave 96 lt. with a Tushingham 5.0, 4.5 and 4.0m in up to a foot of chop. The Trade winds blew day and night and perpect for all days 'cept one. My travel companions Leanne and her partner Glenn seasond travellers made all the trip plans and so made an easy trip for me. Thank you both.

Sounds like you should have your formula kit!

Yes...actually I could do the formula as well but l don't have any.

However,  there may not be much wind for the slalom as you know the wind usually dissappears the moment you put up the slalom flag.

Mick sounds like a great trip. Small world. Went to emergency this week and the nurse that tended to me said she was jetlagged after coming home from holiday last night.

Turned out it was Leanne! Couldnt shut us up of course once found out both sailboarders..She ended up getting called away.
