2661 days ago Pelican Point, WA, AU 117 Futura, 7.5 Koncept, 42 DW. Lovely day at Peli, the water was flat for the location. The wind was good and the runs were fun. I took Darryl's 137 Mistral out for a burn with the 33 Weedspeed; really nice board. It felt really comfortable, like I just wanted more power. Did the fastest runs of the day on the Futura but I can understand why the Mistrals are a favorite for some people. Would be good to try it in really lit up conditions. All in all a good day, even a warm can of bundy left in the car from yesterday to wet the whistle on at the end.

Another tuning day on the sail feels okay, lets hope there is at least 15 knots for the LOC

Expected a light seabreeze so rigged up the 7m. tide started low so roughed up my fin a few tiimes. Wind got stronger with some nice gusts and was able to get some good runs over the sand bank.
All the best to all the Pinnas competing at the LOC.

Ok Jay, you mentioned something yesterday about getting a Mistral 112 and i really, really should get one....so i did. Good idea, cant wait to get really dialed in on it and compare it to the isonic.
Bit patchy early on and i might have gone a tad small on the fin for todays wind.
Quite nice around 4 when i had to leave

Stronger than what I rigged for but really couldn't be bothered changing down. Nice to get out with a few more Pinnas and some other usual suspects. Started on the CL sl38 but then changed down to the wsp33 which was easier to handle in the gust but was getting quite abit of spin outs in the chop.
