I think this picture sums it up well.

I knew the wind was expected to drop off after 10, and not quite so precititously, so not being confident of wind early enough for a sail this afternoon I decided to chance it. I had not accounted for peak hour traffic...

Wind was 15 - 18 by my wind gauge when I was rigging up, had dropped to 10 - 12 by the time I was ready to hit the water. I thought I might as well give it a go anyway, since I was already rigged. Planed for the first 200m off the beach and then slogged all the way to Peli Point. The wind picked up a bit there and I planed most of the way back, just, then the wind dropped out again and thought I'd quit while I was in reach of my start point.

My legs feel like I have had a surprisingly good workout for 4 km. I am so unfit after my injury lay off.

Light wind but it was a sail when it may not have been.

Using new GW60 which showed around 22 knots while sailing but came up with 29 knots 2 Sec whan uploaded, which I know I did not do, hence 0 for 2 sec.

Must track this down because it is the second time it has given me too high a 2 sec reading. It is set on knots rather than KPH. It may have been because I did not delete the previous session so it somhow combined them, even though I selected the upload with today's date rather than the separate data with the earlier date. Have just deleted today's plus previous data - at least I think I have - so will have to see if the same error occurs next time.
