OES Outlaw 105, 7.0 Gator, 32cm Weedy then 20cm Delta. Wind was patchy to start off with and struggled with the flood tide. 13-18kts to start then the Seabreeze filled in and all was good. Nothing special but a good sail in my unfit and unskilled state.
Shallow weedy bottom on each end of the run with some chop in the middle channel. And then the tide dropped a bit and there was that magical super smooth and glassy run on the eastern end. I can see why it is special now. That bit was a bit under 500m long. On the drive out there was a much larger weedy glassy area but that will have to wait until next time.
A bit of sightseeing day for wifey and only had a small window of time for a sail. I have been wondering about Bairds for a while but haven't been able to get up the coast to check it out.
