Firstly a big thank you to Steve for providing the wind & water today 

Lightish Easterly sail with Shane in the Sun, probably about 13-15knots. Pretty happy with hour as the wind was a bit patchy in the middle. Tide also was up so you could get into the town end & gybe without dragging too much. Nice cruise 

Hoping to get a couple more sails in on Sunday & Monday but what looked like some really good days is dissipating with each new forecast

  i think it started blowing more when i decided to call it a day . Jeremy still out cruzing around when i left

Ok so i am still an idiot :0 they started the race in offshore 5-10knts so i took a chance on the big board especially with some upwind legs potentially on offer. Got to mark 1 in maybe 7th place and suddenly had a decision to make as the seabreaze was starting to kick in. I could either continue and get my ass kicked on the 186ltr board or I could simply sail back upwind and enjoy my afternoon at the pub. I sat on the board for a while at the first mark watching the guys go by including my arch nemisis Kenny form the pesky Pinnas who was looking good and probably in the top 20. Packed up, Had a shower, Ate a pizza and 2 beers before I saw the final competior finish.
