Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU

A nice play after work. Most of the sailors started to leave as I hit the water and they took some of the wind with them but Bondy and I had a good sail in the flat water.

Ran the 6.6 , should have ran the 7.9 as it would have been spot on but got to practice running the smaller sail on the big board with a large weedie.

Sandy Point, Vic.

Very little wind and I probably would not have sailed, but I got a call from Andy (Windsurfinggear Hervey Bay) saying lest have a sail. No worries, I'm in! Laughing

A light Easterly and low tide. Wind 12-14 knots but with a few holes. Not many planing gybes but it was actually great fun for me. Andy struggled a bit with his fin choice. I told him there was a small amount of floating weed and he went with a full weed delta. Whoops, sorry mate. Embarassed If I had realised beforehand I would have recommended a normal 40 or 45 weedie. But it was warm water and nice out there so I think he enjoyed it anyhow. Great to meet up again!
