Carlisle St, Safety Bay, WA, AU

I figured Safety Bay would be the only place with wind. There was a lot of kiters and no windsurfers that I could see on the speed run so I just banged back and forth over the chop, keeping away from the slalom event. The water was about waist deep on the Pengo's sand bank so plenty of chop there as well. Not that much fun speed-wise, but it was nice to sail over white sand and crystal clear water instead of wading through mud, weed and Fangy's trained crabs.

I had a look over the slalom gear at the end of their event, some nice gear there. Most were using big weed fins, I probably should have used my 36 weedy.

Just a fun session, not as choppy as the other day fun cruising out to the yatchs and back, not as windy as what was predicted but non the less a very enjoyable day.

Bit more wind than expected

Tried both wings, small one as usual more stable with speed

Stated off light 15 knots and picked up to a bit over 20 knots. Went with the big gear but changed to the smaller board when the wind and chop increased. 

7.5 koncept, 125 patrik then 97 futura, 38 vector weedy and 31 tribal ws.

Nice and comfy and everything felt good even with a broken batten.
