Dorans, TAS, AU wind was a bit up and down but had an enjoyable sail.FF121 Hot 8.0

Stanley, TAS, AU Interesting session with  Maito, erratic gusts swinging from southerly to westerly. Fortunate to have a useful southerly channel at the bottom end which we depended on for half the runs. Good learning experience for young Maito, who made the most of it.

Went to Marion to begin with, but wind never really came in and was too WSW, so only got a couple of runs in on the 90 with a 6.2.  Then went to Dorans (this session) and had a resonable sail with quite a few out.  Wind was up and down, but more often down!

Very up & down, rigged on the small side as was pretty windy when I got there. Nice to have a blast with a sail smaller than a 7, much nicer on the body

Well that just didnt happen. Forecast was awesome and around 30 knots. Got up early and dragged Ferg out of bed at around 7am. His response was that of typical teenager " I am too tired, blah blah blah" Anyway rocked up to Marion around 8am and looked awesome. Tim was already there (good work Tim) and rigging up. Dave and Kaleb arrived and then as we rigged up it dropped out. Came back in a bit for about half an hour and that was it. Dropped tired Ferg back home and then headed to Dorans for another blast with Kaleb and Dave. Wind wasnt really happening there either but still great to be on the water again. Post is from Marion. Used FF114, 7.0, 37 Vmax 4.0/38 Volt 2 at Dorans
