JP HF 135L, NP RSR E7 7.0, NP RSeX Convertable.

Sailed out past the platform, Ticked that boxCool

First session on the new foil after seeing the difference it made for the Stroppy fella I traded in the Pink bits on Monday last.

First run had a bit of an inauspiscious start, seriously struggled to get up on the foil, the board felt like it was stuck to the water, this wasn't helped by Stropp cheerfully flying circles around me proving that shit should be happening if not for the PEBAB.

Eventually I get up on the foil, ooooo quite nice underfoot, 700m later bloody thing spits me of, all well and good till I feel the foil give me a nice slice on the shin, Bugger!

Sailed back to the sand bar got spat of again, up haul go again.

Stropp turn up to show me how to do it again, so I follow him, we foil past the channel marker, ooo virgin teritory for me, he's heading for the platform gradually pulling away from me which is ok I'm concentrating on not making a dent in the water, Woo hoo there goes the platform, Stroppo's gybed (his hair is still dry), I gybe (mine isn't), quick uphaul (Stropps waiting in anticipation) I get going, Figured out I've got to stand right on the tail of the board and we're of, going..... going......gone, another uphaul and we're on the road again.

Hang on why is Stropp saing so far up wind??? oh shit, theres the channel marker, better follow him then, board went nicley upwind, although nowhere near the angles Stropp's achieving but enough to get the desired effect.

Back was hurting a bit from having abject work inflicted on me yesterday so no more attempts at the long runs.

Thought I had the mast foot a touch to far forward as was having to lift my front foot to keep flight so a quick adjustment got my weight back on the front foot.

Had a few more dismounts but some magic flights.

The new foil is definately worth the extra brass, so much more stable and much easlier to keep going I just need to introduce it to Mr File so as to try and cure it of it's blood lust.

Gunna be a lot of fun learning this one.

Good times.
