Had another great sail today - the wind Gods are smiling down upon us. The sun was out =- decided to get down to the beach at midday to take advantage of the high tide - Just as I was setting up a squall came through and then nothing - I thought that this was the pattern today - rigged 6.5 m Severne Turbo GT - and weed fin = still plenty of weed about . After about 30 minutes of stuffing around out there the wind gradually built in to a nice 18 knots. The chop was pretty nasty with a fair bit of Easterly so my knees are still feeling a little tender. A few of the kite boys got out amongst it as well. Getting so much time on the water - for me I can't remember a better start to our season. Got a phone call from Ed later on wanting to know the bad news "Yes, you missed out on another good session".
