A bit of bump and jump at Melville. A bit less choppy and gusty than yesterday so was a nice little blat. Boz looked to be doing some fast runs upwind near attadale.

Foilville

had to get out on the water and get that foil fix for the week

I thought by the afternoon the conditions might have settled a bit, perhaps they had but was still very very gusty even in the middle of the river and there was a bit of chop around but I was most annoyed to see the time trialers had started for the winter and were still out in force despite the rubbish conditions

certainly some major but clentching moments going flat out through the moguls of big boat wakes

found things to be much nicer for the most part in matilda bay, the gear was quite comfortable and think I have got may settings sorted finaly for the foil in those conditions

was enjoying some nice speed runs in the bay, hooking the gusts in the flatish water and actualy had a 28 knot display and felt like if the conditions hadn't been so gusty I could have pushed it further, realised I hadn't really tried for many alpha's so tried one late in the sesh and knew straight after it that I didn't need to try for more it was SWEET got the foiling gybe just right, checked the watch just to make sure and was stoked to see a 20+ knot alpha, thats a foil PB for me

was tired enough after that and conditions were fading so I made my way in

so despite being very average conditions I had really quite a good day on the water, new wetsuit worked a treat and kept me nice and toasty and I didn't have to de rig in the rain so I really can't complain Smile

Another fun day catching the winter storms, bump city but fun on the Manta 59, well behaved in the roughest of chop, jibes like a treat. Going cross chop on the downwind runs was a lot of fun airborne a few times so much fun.

Great numbers for the foil, Sean! Congrats on a super alpha.

Flash, Congratulations on the nm PB.

Good speed, Hooksey!

and congratulations to Kenny whose stamina is impressive - sailing three storm front days in a row.

More wind tomorrow then you can rest up until Thursday...

pretty stoked with all those numbers there because if I hadn't said I was on the foil no one would have guessed it, all my figures blend in and are very close to the rest of the team

watch out everyone won't be long till the foils are faster Tongue outWink

but seriously I just like showing that the foil isn't so specialized and is awesome fun in all conditions

hope we can keep getting more and more people out on the water enjoying flying around Cool
