Didn't break any records today. Wind was good when I first hit the water but I spent all of that good wind heading upwind to peli point for some bear-aways on the flat water but unfortunately the wind was petering out and swinging further north. Probably spent about 80 - 90% of the time planing in shorts and T shirt, didn't fall in ;D.

What a fantastic winters day on the water.

Foil at Walen bay. Very on/off wind but when it blow i was nicely powered up on the 6.2. Quite a few others at Walen bay which is a great place to launch on a NE. Seems like the foiling bug is spreading.Cool

North Easter, nuce and sunny pity the wind didn't stay constant, 10kn gusting to 15 at best, nice to just plod and practice light wind jibes n tacks

I had a quick look at Majestics jetty with a view to an inaugural foil but saw someone on a windsurfer out of the bay trying to get on the plane and a guy with a giant kite who gave up. Maybe it was Kenny putting in as I left. I was the guy with the ugly dog

Might have been me struggling in the bay remery. When I first got out the wind dropped to about 5 knots. Came back to shore and to wait for the wind to came back again. Had to be patient today!

Disappointed that the forecast wind did not eventuate - Northerlies are so hit and miss...

Glad to see some of you managed to make the most of the glorious sunshine before it all disappears...
