Kanahooka, NSW, AU NE up to 20 knots early on then fading to nothing later.

FOIL

First foil races at KoBSC! Great turn out - 5 kindred souls including our latest club member Peter. Managed 2 races but the last was a bit dodgy as the wind was starting to falter.

Well done to Stu for his first foil races - 2nd in the first one!!

Great to be out with Chris Matt Stu & Peter.

Beers were spot on after racingSmile - thanks Matt!

Kanahooka was the perfect spot to begin the foil racing season. I will endevour to use the race foil set up more frequently to get a better feel for it. The GT is quite user friendly and comfortable. The race set up is different in that for me it requires the mast track to be much further forward and more emphasis placed on front foot pressure, but the upwind and downwind angles achieved are a lot better in comparison. Overall a great day on the water with Stu, Chris and Bushy and a big welcome to Peter.
