Another perfect day for foiling - 22 knots and nice wind-swell.

Awesome downwinding with Simon on his Slingshot Wizard 125 and Time Code setup.

And Sunday Peter on his Smik board and Go Foil wing. Now 3 of us downwinding - stoked Laughing

Melville Beach, WA, AU

A pretty good session at Melville, except for the mishap. Wind had alot of westerley and was gusty but reasonably consistent over large areas. Tried to sail up to Pt Walter to catch up with Nick but was twarted by divine intervention (holey water). Just as well, as after about 1.5hrs into the session, the boom head gave way after a gybe. The single bolt keeping the clamp in place had unscrewed itself. Luckily I was able to carefully sail back to a sand bar for a quick fix. Probably a timely reminder to check all the usual bits and pieces, ropes, tendons etc.

Great session at Peli before work, shame about the boats messing up the water but still great

7.8 was a good choice, well powered.

Good to see Vince & Greg

Late arvo sesh at Peli, on the water at 5:15.

Rigged the M137 + 7.6 TR9 + 38 CL SL2 combo, which was sweet early on when the breeze was still fresh.  It faded after the first half hour and I was wishing I'd rigged the 8.4.

Pretty nice conditions overall though, and not many stinkboats so it was quite smooth out there.  Good to share a few runs with Shane and catch up with Lunny and Neil Cool
