1943 days ago Liptons, Mandurah Bay, WA. First time there, nice spot with flats at both ends. Made the mistake to go out on the 89 even though I saw everyone else slog or come back to switch to bigger gear. Had a few nice downwind runs to Pt Grey, but then had to deal with the old "board sitting on the ground" problem again in the lulls. Getting back to switch to the 112 took a while, but the 112 worked a lot better in the gusty wind with big lulls in the middle. Did just a couple of downwind runs at the slicks on the launch side, but caught a gust in one of them that showed me the potential of the place. Quite different from Fangy's Weed Farm, but picturesque and fun. Hopefully we'll get a windier session there when we return from our trip to Cervantes and Lancelin.
