Every run was a struggle, I felt very unfit and Foreshore is all stops and starts. Julian and a wave sailor were there and we received a visit from Remi that crossed all the way from Kurnell

1353 days ago Foreshore Rd, Botany, NSW, AU. W - 20-25kn, gusting 30. RS5 122L, Loft Racing Blade 7.8m, 46cm carbon fin. Unexpected Westerly at Foreshore Road. Joined Georgio who was already underway, then later another Julian. Hard to pick a sail size because of the patchiness but the 7.8m actually worked pretty well. Got a surpise visit from Remi who has sailed north from Kurnell, still in his summer shorty. Completely mad! I sailed to the end of the runway, took one look at the chop at decided my slalom board (and knees) didn't need that kind of punishment. Some of the gusts in the high 20's were a handful but sail and board handled it surpisingly well although not sure my body faired so good. Feeling it now!!
