Liptons great conditions wished Andrew H and Nicki the Chopper had have been here to enjoy it, today was what yesterday was supposed to be. About 18/23kts, lots of flat water at Point Grey, couldve stayed out for hrs if fit enough

iSo 90, SOD 6.0

Enjoyable sail but not my best effort.
Popped a cam off the baton when rigging, derig rerig went out with not enough down haul, then missed my back foot and stacked it. Headfirst into the sail.
No broken bits but pretty sore afterwards so called it a day.

Nice catching up with Joseph and Alby, plus Peter who called past on his bike.

Sailing on my Pat malone tonight, Hardz and bruce were wisely of the water whern I got there.

Couldn't seem to buy a gust in the flat areas, so just buzzed back and forth working on fitness and trying to get some reasonable gybes.

Could've sailed longer but a wall of smoke charged down the estuary from a burnoff somewhere.

Highlight of the day was when I got home I'd packed away the gear and was just parking the car when I saw what looked to be a fat mouse, turned out to be a baby bandicoot, managed to get right up close to it, the photo was taken from about 150mm away.

Fangyland with Remery, Boz, and Reg. Almost a Goldilocks sort of day for a pleasant arvo on the water. I was underdone on the 6.3 and I couldn't seem to time a gust when I was in the best water, but it was sure better than cleaning the gutters and mowing the lawns.Cool

Hammer knocking out the PBs again. I was lounging around assuming it was another BoM trick. But then the indicator tree was moving around al lot at 1:30 so I jumped in the car. I wish I had the muscles to stay out longer because it looked fantastic as I drove off.

Congrats on the PB Hammer Cool.  (PS. thanks to waricle for telling me what that emoticon meant)

Bugger about missing today - but that's wind/ forecasting for you.  Next time!

(I actually might be more jealous of the baby bandicoot than missing a sail - but I'm not a proper sailor yet).

Congratulations Bruce, great to see you on the water again. 😎Hards did good on the new toy and The Prof got speed for the day😎Hamsters name was Basil. Speaking of names, Rob and Sam?? Sound a bit bland if you ask me. How about names with a little mystery, humour or shock and awe.

@Alby...have image uploads been re-enabled?  Or have you discovered a work-around Wink

I've missed uploading my track screenshots with my sessions.

G'day Greg, I figured a work around, just drag and drop file from wherever it is stored directly into text box.

So I find the file in explorer, Click on it hold the mouse button down and drag it across to the GPSTC session text box and drop it in there where required.

The only thing you have to do is make sure the image isn't to big, the bandi image was original a full sized image posted that and when done it had overloaded everything and blanked my post.

Reduced the size of the image to 20% and reposted no problems, the Google Earth image was straight JPG file from GE no mods needed.

Trust this helps
