Learnt something today. The wind on the grass at the hook is almost 3kts more than on the water..

I measure 13 average 15 gusts. I can plane in 13 kts, but I only got going once very briefly, so I think it was 10kt av 13 gusts.

Liptons very fun sail. Started off in just planing conditions, was getting 21s and 22s, then the wind just kept picking up and started seeing 25's 26's 27s on the boom mounts, but was verey high tide and choppy, and the couple of runs I did back from Point Grey were pretty bouncy. if there had been flats I reckon I could got a 30Knotter. Only one there and 2 kiters.  Carbon Art Slalom 74/121, Neirl Pryde Evo9 7.0m Pepeweed 29/48.  Wish I could shared the stoke with sum1 else it was so good.
