Looked windy and miserable but at the end it was more manageable for me. I started working upwind. No problem but have turned back and stayed at the bottom end to have a bit of fun. So good to see so many out on the water.

First day of Windfest. 10-15 knots E/S/E and some light rain. Bit late getting on the water so not much help from the tide getting out.

Isonic 117 , Switchblade 7m , Vmax 41. Nice combo for todays conditions.

If i wasn’t in the Windfest event i might not have worked my way up there, but since i was, i thought i better enter the tackorama super session up and out against a bit of  tide and atleast get to where others were for a look. Happy i managed that comfortlably.
Saw not an inch of the magical mile present so went home for a coffee. Looked ok but short runs back down by the boat ramp, keen to go back out on bigger board as it dropped but it dropped too much.
Nice to meet some crew.
The day could have been worse, no complaints.
Forecast looked great but nasty east and rain later.
