Port Beach with Alex and Slowie. Short sail to try out another weed fin - this time Leading Edge 34. JP V 68 RSS III 7.8. Seemed a bit underfinned but quicker than the Lessacher I last used with this set-up.

Happy Xmas to all!

Lancelin bay, sonic 95, koncept 5.8, chocko weed 27. Great day, but need to get the file checked as the top speed seems a little odd (have posted the 2nd top for now, have posted the 10sec so will see if it needs correcting).

Met Toby in water, buzzing about.

Good stuff HP. How is the speed run north of the northern pub at lano?? i know some of the boys use it as a freestyle spot.

i'm looking forward to see how much faster James whent than me near the sausages at leighton.

Well done, Jeff

Edited 5x10 but still 30+. Last run was very odd with trackpoint speeds considerably below doppler?

Nebbs, what do you think?

Hi Lao,

If I had to guess what speed Hardpole did, it looks to me like the trackpoints are confused, but the doppler speed is correct.  It's hard to know for sure though, because the trackpoints are so far off the doppler data.  In a court of law you would have to say that there is significant doubt... so perhaps you'd be best off posting the next best time, as you have done.  Sometimes the GPS just gets confused and you have to accept that it didn't record your PB run accurately unfortunately...

Looking on the bright side it should be easier for me to get it again knowing I have already. And breaking the 30 for the 5X10 was the main thing. Have all next week in Lancelin to try and improve it more. Thanks for checking it for me. I was very tired when posting and wondered if I was understanding what was going on.

It was like having three in two days going 31 32 33 Thanks for following it up Mark. I know on that last run I had to go around a kite so I think I started the downwind run lat and pretty suddenly. That may have had something to with it it missing the point.
