Suprise dash down to Boggy for an afternoon on the water.  First time on the Falcon 111 - WOW.  Spent a bit of time getting tuned, should have stayed a little longer for a better hour.  Good to see a few team members out.  S11 had good support without railing up, S10 39 on the way.

RSR E3 7.8 - FF 111 - S11 41 Boggy 12-17

Last after work session before daylight saving ends on Sunday.  Good cruise on big kit:-)

Boggy lake - 12 - 17 knots.

Fanatic falcon 102 / 2011 7m, loft blade and 35cm sl7.

Took the 89 fanatic falcon for a spin today.  Looking back it may have been a little ambitious, managed to plane pretty much the whole time but had to choose some of the bigger gusts to turn around in.  Would have been a little more enjoyable on the big board and fin.  Still good sesh though.

Falcon 89 / 7m loft blade / 33cm sl7.

Boggy lake - 12 - 17 knots.

First time using 7.8 Loft Blade and Sting2 40cm. Sail felt pretty powerful!! Flattened sail frequently with adjustable outhaul when overpowered.

Stuck a couple planing gybes. YaY:-) Nice to see a few others around:-)

What do you think of the Falcon Tim? I still need a good session to tune my 85 in properly but like what I have experienced so far, the stance feels a little high over the straps compared to my other boards, nice looking board though.

gee Sam great hour in those conditions but then again what else is new.

I love the PB's but some of the more well established sailors have PB's dating back well ages/years ago!

Is it at all possible to have alltime best PB's then PB's in a calnadar year or rolling PB's for last 12 months to show up on this web site? Would be great for longer term members to see how their tracking over the last year. (eg abreviations would be PB then RPB (Rolling PB))

How does one go about letting site admin in on this idea?

Later   Peter

Peter if you post on GPSS and have gold membership the site offers a complete stats break down on all your sailing etc equipment, fins, location, speed, it would be great if GPSTC offered something similar but it's time and cost as well to the guys.

My most used board is the falcon 131 and 7.8 sail, funny how you only remember the high wind days though.

Dont be afraid to really crank on the downhaul with your 7.8, it will free the leech and feel light in the hands as well as have heaps of drive, easily hold it in 20+ knots once you get the tuning sussed out.

Hi Choco, First impressions of the F111 are great! Deck shape seems nice and the track recess doesn't cause any problems pumping and gybing.  From memory it planes a little earlier than my old 111(06) and is more directionally stable(and doesn't spinouit without warning!) I have the 134 also(your 85's two big brothers) and have read that it has the same feel as the 111.  Looking forward to more time on them in the coming weeks.

Carl, you fired Sam up alright(port doesn't slow him down!) - he was on a mission out there and flying in nothing as usual.  Nice tie on peak speeds.

Peter, I'm glad we both have distance contribution buttons - my aim is to get 1 per month, even if that means plodding along and getting distance.  As Choco showed the Gold member stats and search functions have heaps of features, you can spend hours using them.
