No speed sailing for me this afternoon, so free-sailed on the biggest kit that I had with me. Dead west, 15 knots gusting 20 knots sometimes. My iS107 and 8m would have been great fun this afternoon. Got on the water about 12.30, most of the other speedies were coming off the water with 5.8m's and saying the wind had dropped off lots. I think the morning crew managed to get some decent peak speeds. Spent most of the afternoon struggling to even get going. But, it was nice to just get out on the water. It was only cold when you were in the water waiting for a little gust to water-start, otherwise it was not to bad.Â
