5.9M KA Koyote & 109L Naish Titan, got sucked in & changed down to the 94L Exocet CrossFrown

Started with Futura 101, Lightning 6.5, Choco34 and as soon I touched the water the wind dropped, sorry guys......Cry. Spent some time out on the sand bar and came back to the beach when I thought that there was no hope of the wind picking up and also because I had lost feeling in my finger! On the way back I got a few puffs and decided to go back out with the Lightning 7.8 and Choco 36,  as well as loosening the bandage on my finger! I usually hate rigging a second sail but the wind filled in and I had a great sail. Smile Thanks Nelson, Annie & Nauli for hanging around until I came back in.

6.6M KA Koncept (new mast) & 96L F2 Stoke with 32cm LE pointer.

Today was the day, I was gunna kick arse on this setupCool

Forgot to inform BOM of my plansFrown

Planed about 3 times underpowered but kept persisting, telling myself any minute now I'm going to get that gust and just bear away at 30+ knotsLaughing

I could feel it I tell ya, but it never happenedYell

Couldn't even bring myself to re-rig (something sensible) so just sat & watched everyone else suffer as wellSurprised

All in all, slightly better than Dead!

Exocet Cross 106, 32cm Exocet fin, T3 6.5 & Cool = WIMP/no fun.

Go133, 38.2cm weedfin, T3 6.5 & Cool = GUMBY/still no fun.

Go133, 38.2cm weedfin, NCX 7.5 & Cool = GUNNA/some moment of fun.

Just learnt today to follow my instincts....

Redline 7.0, iSonic 133, Drake 40

Should have put up 7.8 and sailed a bit later.... but you get that!

Windrider (12854km):

CR7.7, Sonic110, 34Drake. Plenty of wind at Melville Wink. Powered up most of the time, but could have done with a bigger fin (though that may have created sandbar issues). Nice cruisy sail.

CB will post tomorrow.

Just read the sessions and feel better that I spent most of the day chasing the wind, I think its the first time one of my posts has actually helped lift the team result! That has made my day.

In the immortal words of Winston Churchill, on days like today : "We must just KBO (keep buggering on)"

Things may change, Windy is yet to post, and the phantom (Stribo), as well as Nauli.  Scotty, inspiring as always.  I've found a scalpel if you want to get rid of that finger once and for all.

No thanks Borgy, I intend to keep my distance from sharp things for a while! Also I heard DIY scalpel work + hand = infection....Laughing

Looking a Scotty, I think I need to trade the Go for an Isonic.

Scotty...you're a movie star!....well maybe not movies but pics look great. Well done to stick it out  until the wind kicked in. Borgy excellent results...again patience pays off.

And of course the dogmeister just layin' down them k's...great work Nilss.

Annie and Nelson... good work...and for god's sake just stick something (sharp) in that finger and get all the nasties out.

Now just waiting for the secret Stribo and Windrider's business!
