Used new 6.5 overdrive. Handled the stronger gusts very well. Wind dropped just as I was heading up to Pt walter for downwinder so headed back to car. Hope they had enough wind to make it work. iso 94 overdrive 6.5 Meanline 30inch | ||||||||||||||||||
Jet (3571km):  6 categories Entered the Windforce Downwinder. Had a great time Almost blew a gale on the way to Point Walter then died just before the race. Had a 6.5 Overdrive rigged and thought I would be well cooked but could have used a 7.5 in the end. Safety Bay Downwinder next Sunday Bloody Brayden beat me by about 2 seconds when I dropped a gybe just before the finish line. Ohh the shame. Came 12th which was OK but that meant Brayden came 11th. Used Isonic 76.6.5 Overdrive and 26 Vector fin.
