Karin, evening bora, from 11-16 kt, but also with lot of zero wind, specialy in the begining. Later more constant, but unfortunately, I do not have a nighvision reflector (Jan have one, it seems, becouse he was sailing long after the sunset!) JP Slalom 82, NP Slalom 86, fin Select Proslam 45.

I must say that, in spite of not so strong wind, and not very impresive numbers (except for max speed which is very good for big equipment) that today was one of the best sailing this year. Very relaxed, comfortable - in the zone! :-)

However, Jan, please, look in the rear mirror before you go to the turn. :-) And, also, please, don't go on less than 2 meters from me when goinig in the oposite direction. I am easily frightened of unwanted colisions! :-)))

Karin, bura 15-20 kts

iSonic 111 / RS Slalom / MFC 36cm

 

Afternoon session in Karin with Adi...

Started with Drake 38 fin and didn't go well so I changed to MFC fin 36cm which proved to be much better solution.

It seams that every small thing regarding trim counts....

Had a problem with boom rope (mast attachment) that broke in half so I had to go back to the shore with loose boom to replace the rope (it impacted my 1 hour average grrrr....)

Wind started to pick up and I had a nice half an hour sailing into the night....nice flat sea...on one tack you see some light coming from the horizon and on other tack black sky but moon shining the way...very nice..

Looking forward to early morning sessionn Tomorrow....same place...same crew....

thanx hardie and pierre. still i can't find myself in good position for speed, still i am limited at 28 and nothing upper. just can't find myself good position on board, my harness lines and good position of lines, have feeling that i am not in harmony with my sail.... grrrrr

and noone to find to show me how to do it, and how to trim my sail right :(

seeing now my last posted photo here, i think i was leave my extension on 28 and it must be on 30

seeing my sail, it was to flat on top, and need much, much more downhoul

right? next time, i will not do the same mistake again, i hope that this was problem for sail beiing unstable in this

very gusty wind with lots of holes between different positions on the spot
