Old Salty (5645km):  Point Henry, VIC, AU NW/W 15 - 20kts Excite 120 Koncept 6.6 C3 Venom 36 F2 32 Weed fin Konept 6.6 Last minute road trip with Mick, PeterN and Rob K to catch up with Red and Jacques - those boys where smokin. Brilliant time great location if you have a weed fin. Which I did not! until Red lent me one of his. Weed was frustrating until I changed over to weed fin and the F2. Got F2 smokin on a couple of runs. Great to see Mick having fun on his new board and Peter getting some great planning runs in the straps | ||||||||||||||||||
Drift (6257km):  3 categories    LOCATION: POINT HENRY WIND: W-NW- 15 KTs PEAKING 18-20 GEAR: Carbon ARt FR 77, KA KOYOTE 6.6, 36 cm FLYING OBJECT WEEDFIN (thanks Red!) DETAILS; Road Trip! Old Salty made the call to head west and it was a great call! Point Henry was fantastic fun...huge long runs on flat water and a consistant breeze. A weedfin was certainly a must but the long runs were awesome....heaps of time to get comfortable and tweak the run. I followed Red's course on the bear away and got my peak. Those guys know how to dial into the place. This is a definite Winter destination on a NW. | ||||||||||||||||||
