Futura 111, Lightning 7.0 (should of used the 7.8) and a 32 weedie - Was underpowered most of the day and was getting cold!Surprised Went back in to whinge about the wind, the cold and weighed up rigging the 7.8, but the wind was dropping fast and it was begining to look like the 7.8 would be too smallas well!!Yell Almost gave up when the wind picked up again, bugger rigging the 7.8, but I did put the wettie on...Embarassed. It was cold!!!

Was out in Scotty land and came across a HUGE stingray, well over a metre wide! I had just jumped back on and before I got going he swam from underneath the board. It was only knee deep, so surprised (but thankful!) that I didn't hit him!

CR6.7, Xfire102, Rocket32. Melville. Reverted to rigging the 6.7 on a Powerex mast and used a "normal" fin instead of a weedy. Instantly 2 knots faster!

6.5M T4 & 109lt Naish Titan with 34 Choco then 94Lt Exocet with 36 Choco (not my fin choice)

When I got out of the water today I said "I don't care what the GPS says, I had a great sail"Laughing

How nice to be out in the sun on a weekday afternoon, hopefully there is more tomorrow.Wink

Anyone who is waiting for Nelson to post should give it up, he has been pushing out ZZZZeds in the recliner for about the last hourSealed

Exocet Cross 104L, Cross 84L Naish Titan 109L with 7.5M Tushie T-bird & various fins.

Tried every board in the car as the gear felt slow & sluggish, a;most got a ride on the Exocet Cross 94L but it got confiscated at the last minuteFrown

Eventually put some extra downhaul on & that made a huge difference to the feel of the sail but still no speedFrown

Good to get out although totally buggered at the moment, need a rest day from reno'sLaughing
