Birdman (2707km):  Novara. Manta 69, NP V8 6.5m2, JP 36cm. Very pleasant sail - met up with some of the Mandurah Mob and Southsiders. Went down to do some miles on the basis of the 20kn forecast but the wind just didn't have the legs for it. Breeze was S/SW and some good squirts around midday but after lunch wasn't regularly getting on the plane. Gave up around 3pm. Some repositioning of footstraps has significantly improved comfort on the Manta - feeling very nice in 15-20. | ||||||||||||||||||
