DanP (6533km): ![]() Inverloch VIC Au No GPS for me. Received a shipment of fins in the mail and thought i'd test out my new wave fins... LUV EM!!! Fanatic Newave Twinser, 5.3 Kult & 16.5cm MUF X-Twin fins. second time on the board and these fins just make it feel completely different. Had a ball. Got Guy Cribb coming here to Invy in a few weeks so thought i'd practice on my wave kit. Was pretty happy i could get the 5.3 going when other people were out on 7.5's - 6.6's Session Stats: approx 20 duck gybes attempted - 0 completed. approx 15 heli tacks attempted - 0 completed. 1 really really spectacular failed attempt at a spock | ||||||||||||||||||
Drift (6257km): ![]() LOCATION: OLD AERODROME WIND: SE 12-20 KTS GEAR: Starboard SUP 12'6, KA KOYOTE 8.2 Details: Nice arvo Sou easter so I head up to the top lake. lauching from a rock wal was a challenge but once out there was a solid breeze. The lake is about 10 k's accross by about 20 k's wide so I just locked in and went for a nice long run to the other side. Coming back there was enough chop to surf onto a wave then overtake the one in front. Once again no one else out... |
