Hoped for 20k so rigged 6m Severne NCX OK in the gusts but totally underpowered in the lulls, spent too much time in the water rather than on it. Had a couple of runs on the flat water up by the weed best run showed 29.2 but the GT 31 doesnt seem to download what it shows at the time. A good sail anyway

4076 days ago Afternoon sail at boggy was looking like the wind was not going to happen when i arrived but it did pick up a bit. Not to choppy but only got luck with one powered up run over the flat water in front of the reeds frustrating as the wind was not over the flat water on most of my runs across it
It was almost croweded at boggy for a Wednesday Jeff, Leon, Sam and a few others.

Tough day, felt overpowered at times. Tried to do a few naughties and sailed a few laps. Felt fast around and between islands but could not better previous 2 sec peak:-( Also smashed myself after losing a few gybes, and hard to chase a board sail through weeds!!

had planed to start out for an hour but herby had gone off down wind not to be seen so straight downwind on a search and rescue, found him pretty beat up and struggling to get back upwind, finally after a few stacks got him around the back of the point and carried his gear back, old bugger broken rib and 4 stitches but he got a pb, too stuffed for a hour after that so blasted around on the sxs, was sweet on the little slalom today and all of a sudden I was running 39s on it consistently with a peak of 39.98 far better than my previous 38s pb for this board, done last half dozen runs on the missile to get my 40 but I think if I stayed on the sxs i would have got it on that.
good beer and tucker at the pub after and a few bundys back at the van with gaz.
