1 van de beste sessies voor speed dit jaar op Makkum, mooie grote groep op het water met een enorm brede spreiding qua materiaal... van full-size speed boards (41 breed ) tot slalom 63 breed. Van 5.6 tot 7.0, begin van de middag 7.0 heerlijk en super power, daarna nam de wind geleidelijk toe en verdween de controle. 

Al met al geweldige middag gehad, veel grijnzende en lachende gezichten, hoge snelheden en super veel plezier. Ben nieuwsgierig wat de avond-crew nog gaat neerzetten qua speeds....

Nice afternoon at Makkum beach. Decided no to  go to sea today because the wind was expected to build up strength later in the day. Only second time on Makkum this year. (It used to be my homespot). Went ouit with the 7.0 and the I Sonic 97. In the beginning it was the right combination, but a smaller board would have been better later in the session. All in all we had a very nice session with a lot of team members of Speed team Makkum and Dirk Jan was also present. I am very curious what the speeds of Luc are today

Had to work hard to get some decent speeds out. Somehow I couldn't get more out of it today. My best runs were mainly from 16.00  - 17.00 h. I hoped the wind would increase more. But had fun together with some of the usual suspects. Congratulations to Jens with a PB again!

FF51 + Warp 6,3. Nice session at Makkumba beach. Looking at the other postings in the Netherlands, we probably had the best wind over here. 

I waited until 16.00 to go out on the water. I used 6,3. This was ok, but the wind was not strong enough to hit the really high speeds. Wind direction and chop did not help either. But hey, no complaints at all - we had a great session with a big group. Fabian did an excellent job this afternoon on his Falcon Speed 45. I think his best run (70+) gives him the edge over me. Congrats on you great session Fabian!

Sessie 90: Een heerlijk wadwandelingetje en 4 runs waarvan de laatste huiswaarts! Omdat ik er geen genoeg van kon krijgen nog even een wandelingetje met een te klein setje bij Makkum gemaakt, morgen weer een kans!

Certainly not my lucky day. Broke a mast and lost two screws. It was fun though. The wind we had hoped for did not really come through but it was good to finally have some wind, haven't had that for ages.
