| Recycle (17196km): Melville gusty uncomfortable sail. iso107/7.8/ca37 | ||||||||||||||||||
| JC (5181km): Pelican Point, WA, AU Another gusty session at Peli. Headed up river to Melville but stopped short of the sandbar figuring a 40cm pointer, the sand bar and weedbergs weren't a good mix, so played around mid river with some downwinders. Some big gusts, at times tail walking the 7.8, nasty chop in parts and then long flat sections made for a fun session. Hoped to go for a decent hour but 4 dropped gybes blew that chance. Stoked with the speed as it's a PB for this board which performed well in the gusty conditions and surprisingly choppy conditions given there were no boats out. Fun stuff. | Snides (28038km): Melville Beach, WA, AU nice arvo sail started out on the e4 7.0 with the new 460fx mast trying to get it tuned right. after several adjustments i have determined this mast doesnt suit this sail. swapped over to the old italian x9 and everything was sweet again. used the xfire105 and clockwood mk 1 36,then the clockwood mk2 34 should of been on a 38... found the conditions difficult and very gusty,about as gusty as it gets. still nice to have a few beers with the crew afterwards.. | ||||||||||||||||||
Slowboat (51908km): ![]() melville, late start, a couple of runs across the river before it konked. One nice gust out the back on the way in for a downwind run. M137 7.8m CLSL2/44. | ||||||||||||||||||
