Last minute La Franqui vacation (now with beloved wife Nadia and my super doggy Gitta).
So relaxed and take it easy this trip. Time is on my site know and enjoy this nice time know with my little family.
This morning first prepared the rataouille for this evening (so no hurry at all to get on the water), then took my bike to go for bread to the shop on the camping site but, could not resist to go to the speed site. (some guys Jean-Marc Degrelle were going great). So back to the campingsite and grabe same food. Gear up and go to the beach.
Going there with the big was easy, but getting back. Damm the wind.
When it is forbidden to drive with a car on the beach, it wil not be easy to get on the spot  think.
Gear - up. (Jean-Marc just finished and had some great time). Took my 5.5 Avanti M2 and 44 Isonic, 21 cm C3 Slingshot.
First run, nice, but the angle of the wind was turing broader. Littele chop was the results, so it was getting tricky. Speeds where not so fantastic. Conditions difficult (broad angel of  the wind an choppy). After some runs, time to charge up the batteries and take some food in.Â
After a visit of my wife and dog, back on the water.
Angle of the wind turned more square again and my first run got a 1 sec run of 80 km/u. Nice, let's go for the next run.Â
Getting back to the starting point wa easyier now.
Going upwind, and turing, damm, what's this, the bottem batten of my sail seems to be broken (now crash, just broken).
Luckely the battenpocket was not dameged, so game over (at 1600 hour) for me today.
Already got the batten out of the sail. Seems the been broken at the connection between the tube and flat (flex) connection part off the batten.
I lukely a have some spare parts and gear with me to repare this, So the batten will be fixed for to morrow.
Hopefully a nice session again.
Also, the spot changed big time after three weeks. Tricky sandbanks in the water know. Wach out !! . Not the time to try a nauctile mile record. Dangeours with lager (longer) fins i think.
