Nice arvo, went small but not enough wind to easily get up wind so was a bit of a slog. Heaps out.

One of the most pleasant arvos! Everything worked well. 7m o.drive , isonic 90L, 26cm weedie. Nice and warm, lots of guys and Sue of course. 

All smiles everyone was happy.

Well it didn't come in as well as they predicted when I was out- should have stayed longer as looked like it did later.Usually I'd use my 7.8m in those conditions. Found it hard to get upwind but the gusts in the smooth were fabulous! I don't usually fiddle much with settings but after 1.30hr I moved the mast foot forward and that helped getting upwind but the wind was starting to die by then.

 Got a 30.03 on the Gps but knew it would be knocked back on posting. Went for a nm right at the end but by then not enough wind to keep planing..

No decent gybes as I'd run out of wind on the xits.. Milsy seems to have his own supply of wind to get him through..

 Good crew out and Sue took some pics so when I get a chance I'll post some here + the Budgy page.

Alwyn ( got some fun runs in the smooth) Andrew ( underboarded as usual..) Mick , Milsy , Wayne , Pete, Bruce, Tibor , Michael, Glynn + others - Troy going out as I left and seemed to be going well.

 Not looking forward to tomorrow 41 degrees predicted up here..

to work on my gear.

Wind was upand down at Marmong but a couple of nice runs.

Slowly getting back into it. Need to figure out how to make the iSonic go faster.

Coal Point, NSW, AU exocet RS2, Maui TR11 6.6, BP 34 blowing around 23knots at least at the sand islands.

what a place suprised me only half a dozen out sorry guys you missed it, cristal clean water and the the run was working you go thru the rough and then hit some smooth and accelerate.

very shallow my fin has nicks from the weed must have barnickles in it not the bottom.

very happy with the new board good speed for that amount of wind would have been faster with the pointer but wouldnt get up that high.

for me it would have been windy enough to get on a 50 CA speed board and then maybe punch out near 40 but would have got stuck over there in the end.

I did a 34 knot run then looked out to see no wind at coal point but still 20 at the sand islands so headed home and it was hard work on a 90l board.

FF79 and 6.6m, Good in the gusts but underdone the rest of the time.

Ultra flat in the weed, it could be so good here, if only there was wind.
