Wind started of light and Westerly, filled in to S.W then changed to Southerly.

Used the Pat 100l and 7.8m Firewing for most part, worked well.

Good to sail with John, Noel and later Rob & Lachy, You took off down wind like a rocket today Lachy and got back up wind easy, nice going.Cool

        Fangys weedfarm WA,

Was giving the FangyFin a work out and was very happy with its ability to handle the lumpines out the back, and go

through the weed.

I great day on the water at Fangyland with Fin, but I think I have done the impossible and broken my Beautiful ol’ Party Barge. I was having problems with weed getting under the fin and eventually noticed the entire fin box is mobile. The board is an old Xantos F2 plastic fantastic.

I would like to fix it and I have plenty of carbon to boot. What I don’t have, is any time or spare cash - so  if someone has time on their hands to do the job quickly, wants to have a crack, and is happy to barter  for a discount off a Fangy Fin - get in touch please :-)

Apart from that, Fin and I had acres of smooth to ourselves. Hard to find a downside, possibly the wind was a little too west, but hey, so much water to play on. Fin took out a FF20 for testing and seemed to be going very nicely, if his gybes are anything to judge by - so smooth in execution.

I knocked out a special alpha that I think that is close to a PB for the Barge. Very happy with that one. But for the most part it was just sailing for fun, and there was that in spades.

Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU. Falcon113/Firewing7.0 and MUF Delta24. A quick after work/school sail for me and Lachy. Slugger was already out doing some good runs and Otts and John were packing up.  Much smoother than the Leeman/Cervantes weekend. Good to be out Smile

Drifter, thats just sacrllege. I just put new Xmas lights on it! Besides, it's a while before the next Council Kerbside collection and I am not guarenteed finding a worthy replacement for the Barge - quality like that doesn't get thrown out everyday Foot in mouthLaughing
