Well I really thought I'd have an hr pb.. I had a bigger fin on and obviously my runs were too short..I ran agorund on the other side on the first gybe so kept out there and got bogged down and off the plane in the weed the other side.

I was crook this am and exhausted from 6 days over the top sailing..15mins into the hr my eyes were hanging out my head and I thought i can't do this! Amazing what you can do when you push yourself. Only dropped one gybe right at the end when I was buggered and ran aground on the first run.

This is the first day I felt in control and that I was sailing well- perfectly powered and I trusted the fin. I did some nice gybes. Everything felt great! 

The chop was smaller and I'm more used to the 87ltre as I've had it 6 months whereas the 80 I've only had a few weeks.

Went for a bit of a cruise after.If I wasn't so exhausted I would have tried for distance..

Only a few out - Glynn, Daffy ,George , me and 2 or 3 others..

Room for improvement for the next attempt..

Nice Formula sailing at Marmong today. Barry ,Mick ,Geoff and I doing a few fun Races. 10-15 knot SS/E.

HWR and first sail on my new to me Neil Pryde RS Racing Evo 6 10 m. Nice sail, light , stable ,balanced and easy rotation. Keen to see how I go at next Formula race, Botany Bay in 2 weeks.
