Liptons, was meant to sail at Fangy's today, drove there greeted everyone, rigged up, went to turn my gps's on, NO GPS's, Farrrk, I've left them at home, derig, drive home get gps's then wasnt going to drive the 17km back to Fangys when Liptons is 2km away.  Got to liptons, looked good, thought I'll do alphas, spent whole time doing alphas except for 2 bearawys, without alpha markers probably outside the parameter thought I would've had at least a 25 secretly hoping for a 26.  Litons had lighter but better wind tha yesterday, was more cross shore, maybe a touch more west in it? and the water state was less choppy, so much more enjotable sail today in less wind than yesterday with more wind.  Fave gear.  Mistral 55/95, TR9 6.3m, pepeweed 20/48 and BTW just picked up a new Pepeweed 21/48 with new foil shape can't wait to try it out!!!  Thanx Genius.  Oh and given my memory is farrked, and I keep forgetting things like gps's I will now answer to Alzheimer BoyYell

Another fun fangys session, less wind than yesterday, but I went almost 2kts faster than I did at liptons.

Basil, Fin and Fangy were just about rigged when I arrived, with Peter & Nina right on my heels.

Hardy and Yoyo made a brief appearance.

I rigged the 6.2, plugged into the new 48, with the 19cm@55 weedy, this worked well in the gusts once it was powered up, but I struggled to get upwind in the lulls. The 20cm probably would have been better.

The standout of the day was watching Nina flying around on the smallest of the fangy fins. Nina was maching me upwind and down, I thought she would have struggled more than me upwind, that fin is tiny!

Fangyland Cocktail Cruising on the Party Barge. A super relaxing afternoon in the weedy patch with the peeps. Post the story later Laughing

No kites today, just Nina, Peter, Mike, Pas and Barry for company. The wind strength was a bit light on for the 7.1 but I chucked in the Barge and managed to float around quite happily for the arvo.

The highlight was watching Nina hand out a master class on how to use the FF18. I thought the fin was too small to be of any use what so ever, and Nina should use the FF20. Not for the first time I was proved categorically wrong, as she got uphill without too much drama, but then blasted off downhill like a seasoned pro on the tiny fin.

Coming a close second was getting Peter to follow me over to the Yunderup shallows, but then getting smoked on the upwind legs as handed my ‘local cred’ to me back on a soggy paper plate.

Way back in third place was the relief I felt after realising that the sharp cracking sound was not Basil’s arm snapping as he rigged up, but rather a batten giving up the fight when faced with tubbygut’s new momentum muscle advantage.

Lots of infectious smiles on dials given it was such a mediocre breeze. No big numbers from me but I enjoyed that splash! Top Ten Fangy Day of cruising.

        Coodanup "sandpit",. WA, AU..

Yeah...  sandpit, the tide was low but stil got a fun sail in the weed. I had a ka-R5.5 sail from Slugger I wanted to try out

on the f2 SX-R 58 with el55/18cm weedy. So things went well, beter than expected as the breeze was a tad on the light side,

I am happy with the sail, but nobody tell Slugge, OK, or he may want some payment.

Hay Bassil, your wellcome, the numbers "TESTIFY"
