Great fun thanks T1. Glad you r ok after yesterday..

Friday was absolutely mental up here but today was much more manageable. Jonski done all four races, Jake done 3 and slack me done 2.

Race 1 6.3 115 and 39 pointer. Heading for the start in a good position came to an abrupt halt and over the handlebars. Must have grabed the rope of an ocy pot. The hat and sunnies went flying, the sail sank and by the time i got going again the leaders were at the third mark. This actually didnt matter though, I had the course to myself. The wind had filled in a bit and the board was literaly flying off the big carbon pointer and i was having the time of my life. Even though i started so far back i still managed to pass a few people.

Decided to sit out the next race to conserve energy and even this was a treat watching the mass start and the pros realy turning it on in the even stronger wind.

Race 3 6.3 92 32 pointer.  This race was going to be a rabit start where you had to pass behind a jetski. I decided not to do the start with all the others and set myself the challenge to see how many i could pass. The start line was about 400 m out and when te start horn sounded i left the beach. By the time i reached the first mark i had passed a few and at the mark had to pick my way through several swimmers. On each leg i picked off more and more including Jonski😁. At the final mark there were two more just ahead of me but wasnt able to pass them on the run into the finish. I ended up 31st out of 57 starters which meant i had passed 26 people who had a 400m head start and had a blast doing it.

Big ups to Jonski for doing all 4 races. He had to drive home after and was looking pretty tired.

Wind not looking great for tomorrow but will give it a crack if it does come in.
