Coal Point, NSW, AU 12-20 kts

CA70, 7.7m, 330 Weedy

First Slalom Sail in over six months. This is what happens when you buy a foil.

Good wind at times, but rather patchy and nothing over at the islands

Top speed in the chopiest of all the chop.

Very patchy 10-20kts E- ENE Coal Point, NSW, AU

 Rigged for the gusts

7m M2 OD - RS4 ( 111ltres) - 36cm drake pointer

 few runs with

 Rs2( 90ltres) - 33 select pointer

Off the plane a bit. Gusts were good although there weren't enough of them and I would have been more comfortable with the 90ltre.It seemed to be coming in more so I changed to the smaller board .I got a few runs but it was too patchy and had started to ease off. I did manage to uphaul it though..Smile. I need to practise that more as I can then use the smaller board in patchy 12-18kts and it will be a better size for me.

Last season I tried to uphaul the 87iso and 7m and couldn't but it's really 84ltres..
