| Stephen (4848km): 1 categories  What a December its been...so much wind! No Pb today but lots of 37s showing up on the GPS indicating I'm doing something right. I'm going 2knots faster than last season and I put that down to slingshot technique and trim. Hopefully I can learn to push the W49 faster with better trim......time will tell. The 5.4m was perfect today a little underdone in the lulls and a little overdone in the biggest of gusts. N 30-35kt Nelson Haven low tide - (1.5m low). Went out 1hour before low tide. Had my first crash trying to increase my 10sec speed and pushing further into the chop. I soon realized on the next run, the tide had changed and there was alot more chop.
