Trousers (14352km):
1944 days ago el bog - on a building sw'er, maybe to 22kts, occasional south in it. Quiet day with Phil, a foiler and kiters.
Arrived at lunch to see-sawing 19kts. Dodged the fishermen and took out 6.2 Mach One but on my Isonic97 with a BPR325. After about forty mins of that, I returned to shore. It was slowly getting heavier, but also very choppy. Downsized to the Falcon 79l paired with a BPSabre 325 and spent another half hour or so fine tuning the board until I was as comfortable as the isonic.
It was good to get back on the the Falcon, and realise it's a fine board. I'm looking forward to riding it again now, but certainly need to get better at biting the rail in my gybes. In any rate, after a good half dozen runs, I came in bushed and realised I'd forgot to turn my GPS back on after the board swap. The derp is real. I'll get it right next time! :)
